Re: Your Favorite Match(es) at the 2008 Australian Open

For personal reasons, Ferrero over Nalbandian. Especially because no-one gave JCF a chance before the match.

From a neutral perspective:

1. Hewitt over Baggy
2. Kohli over Roddick
3. Federer over Tipsy
4. Baggy over Safin

The first week was really good.

Re: Your Favorite Match(es) at the 2008 Australian Open

it's gotta be the kohlschreiber match because of its shotmaking. hewitt-baggy must've been fantastic too, but because of a certain tv station's decision to skip tennis, i wasn't able to watch it properly...

Re: Your Favorite Match(es) at the 2008 Australian Open

Federer called it the Happy Slam in his press conference leading up to the Australian Open last year.

My favourite matches are:
1. Federer def. Tipsarevic
2. Kohlschreiber def. Roddick
3. Tsonga def. Nadal
4. Hewitt def. Baghdatis
5. Koubek def. Moya

None mentioned in the poll.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
