Djokovic wins Australian Open 2008, beats Tsonga 4-6 6-4 6-3 7-6 (2)

Noleeeee

Huge congrats on your first (it won´t be last for sure) Slam

Tight start from both youngsters but after a couple of games JW settled better, nailed the first set and was the better player until mid 2nd set but once Nole realized he should be more agressive to put Tsonga into backfoot, it could only be one winner.

The better and more talented player won as expected

Federer won't be happy.

Tsonga played an amazing first set, and just keep falling as the set went on. And I think this entire match, it was in the hands of Tsonga, more than Djokovic.

Keep on the 1st set level through the year, Tsonga.

Congrats to Djokovic, he seemed rather nervous in the beginning and after losing the first set it looked for a moment like he was going to fall apart but recovered nicely after that and started playing much better afterwards. Tsonga played well for parts of the match but just wasn't consistent enough to really hurt Djokovic.
