Actually realistic. I have seen many people make posts arguing that Djokovic's baseline game is more consistent ATM than Federer's and should that pattern continue on Friday he will have a good chance of beating him.
I can't say I disagree with that line of reasoning
One thing is for sure- Federer will have to step it up big time, hit with more depth and authority especially off the forehand wing and mix up the game by varying between the drive and sliced backhands and opening up the court using a variety of deep and angled shots.
He also needs to step in and attack the second serves rather than just bunt them back as he has been doing.
If he can do all that and serve the way he has been, the sets will still be competitive and will not be blowouts by any stretch of the imagination, but Federer will be comfortably favoured to win the match.
If he doesn't do the above mentioned, it will be a dogfight. We know that Nole will play consistenly, hitting deep penetrating shots, not making very many errors and punishing any weak serves. It is therefore up to Roger to make the impact on this match.
