Nadal on average taking 44 seconds in between points

Way over the 25 allowed. I think this is getting out of hand and should be dealt with immediately.

He's slower than Nieminen's serve in the 1st set.

He's making Ivan Lendl look like the Czech version of Speedy Gonzalez. Simply unacceptable, Rafa.

Thanks for the gutsy run, Phillies!!! World Series Champs...2010!!!

Actually, it's 20 seconds at Slams. Go figure...

We need Ramos!!!

He's been doing that for years, why don't the umpires enforce the rules?? Same with on-court coaching - if they are not going to enforce the rules, then just change them.

Federer / Youzhny / Ancic / Raonic / Dancevic

Looks like he's picked up some bad habits from Djokovic.

And he's serving like crap, so it isn't even helping him.

Bring back the ass picking and sock adjustment, Rafa. It's quicker.

Continuing the Speedy Gonzalez theme--Rafa should now be known as Slow Poke Nadalez.

I'd like to think it's the other way around.

Re: Nadal on average taking 44 seconds in between points

I think it's maximum 44 seconds and 31 for Nieminen, not average (not that that is acceptable of course)

So far this game he's been 20, 18, 18, 17 - maybe his average will come down

If I were his opponent I would pull out a nail file and start nailing my files and combing my hair and have a picnic maybe or go have a drink at my chair to show how much damn time he takes.

Files deserve to get nailed good and hard.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.
