How The Stars Of Tennis Measure Up On Amiannoying.com

(I'm sure plenty of you have heard of this site. This is for the benefit of those who haven't. )

There is a popular site on the net in which people vote for whether "celebrities" (of various professions, dead and alive) are annoying or not; it's more entertaining than it sounds, bear with me! Each person has a mini-biography listing the pros and cons of their personalities, and you vote according to whether you think their pros outweigh their cons or vice versa. I think you'll find the pages relating to tennis players quite amusing!

There are some shocking omissions e.g. Roger Federer is nowhere to be seen. But what is there is pretty funny. Here is a selection of links:

James Blake
Tommy Haas
Andy Roddick
Marat Safin
Andre Agassi
Lleyton Hewitt
Juan Carlos Ferrero
Pete Sampras
Jim Courier
Goran Ivanisevic

Bear in mind that there are some others, and there are lots of WTA players listed also, should you want to search for them.

No Coria either But he'd be an automatic 'not annoying' of course

Great find. I enjoyed that. Unfortunately, I noticed that all of these tennis players are over 50% annoying according to the voters. Surprisingly, the one exception is Tommy Haas.

I didn't know Goran watched the Teletubbies and admired dennis Rodman.

I just hope that the guy who wrote this did it before the US Open 2003/Australian Open 2004 because Ferrero does perform well at Slams besides RG. Rahr!

Djokovic // Del Potro // Paire // Thiem // M. Zverev // Youzhny
Coric // Khachanov // Donaldson // A. Zverev // Bublik
Ferrero // Rafter

Well I don't think you're supposed to take it seriously.

Djokovic // Del Potro // Paire // Thiem // M. Zverev // Youzhny
Coric // Khachanov // Donaldson // A. Zverev // Bublik
Ferrero // Rafter

From Marat Safin's page:

While attending Spartak Academy in Moscow, Anna Kournikova beat him in a practice match and he wept.

And I thought losing to Mauresmo was bad.

Yeah, British TV did an interview with Goran recently, and he talked about how he was an authority on the Teletubbies (in quite a deadpan tone, to boot ) and how that would stand him in good stead when his 1 yr old daughter was old enough to watch it.

Yes, I remember when Goran won Wimbledon in 2001 it was all over the media here! He did an interview where they asked him how he kept calm on the morning of important matches, and he said he watched the Teletubbies, - and from then on fans gave him Teletubby dolls and the like
