Rafael "Indian Wells" Nadal is back!

finally. Coach uncle toni has told him to step up to the baseline more. This is the best tournament i've seen Rafa play on Hard since Indian wells. Keep it up. Also best i've seen him play since Wimbledon. Sure cakewalk draw and all, but we all know he is capable. Another GS final awaits should help him seal the #2 spot again.

Yes - and so far he has not been really pushed hard at all.

Let's see what happens when a player comes out there with the game and the mental attitude to go toe to toe and see if he stays up there or heads back into Melbourne.

That's when it counts.

Agreed, however, when under pressure he'll scurry around 100 meters behind the baseline again (as per usual)...

I don't get why people keep saying Nadal played agressive all the time at IW. Most of his matches he got by mostly with defence. Against Roddick he played fairly agressive but I think everyone knows by now that's not very hard to do. In the final he found a good balance but he was still way behind the baseline in a lot of points.

wimbledon 2007 he stayed at the baseline. played a perfect match v fed. took fed to 5 sets in wimbledon. not done since Pistol pete. cmon rafa, we fans need some competition. Of the remaining contenders, only rafa and djoker have the necessary talent to take on fed.

I'd rather wait those extra 5 seconds seeing those boobies bounce than watching some fatass kid burn away his bigmac meal.

Rafa has proven nothing against 4 clowns. Highest ranking of any of them? Top 20 a single one?

Nadal is great on hardcourt because he has beaten Troicki, Serra, Simon and an injured Mathieu?

Nadal can beat those guys on hard since 2004...
