Re: Roger Federer v Mardy Fish - SPOILER

Like that was surprising and yes Federer is beatable, just getting in that before the spate of threads will go on about how unbeatable Federer is.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Not surprising. I just hope Mardy's physically ok to play Nottingham and then Wimby.

Roger is now ahead of Rosset in terms of titles/finals with 16 titles and 8 lost finals (Rosset is 15/8).
He has won 14 of his 16 last finals and lift trophy last seven he played...

I think he will continue that record, winning almost every final he attends...

Woo hoo, Rogi!!! Wow... what a blowout -- thought Fishy w play better than he did!

COngrats, Rogi, on your 5th title this year and your 16th career title!

Also, Rogi only needs a title on indoor to complete his all-surface wins!!!

Enjoy the EURO 2004, Rogi! HOPP, SCHWEIZ!

Now he can rest up and go to Wimby early and begin his slam defence... getting nervous already!

Rogi's unbeaten on grass since Halle 2003.

Hopp Rogi! Go Gonzo! Allez Gasquet!

"He's so charismatic." - Marcos Baghdatis

If he continue like that, he might get his 20 titles before the end of the year.

Re: Roger Federer v Mardy Fish - SPOILER

20 titles! That would be something.

It looks as if Roger will go undefeated on grass again this year. I don't see how he can be beaten on grass by anyone. He himself gives Henman the best chance of beating him, but he's handled Henman easily in the past.

Re: Roger Federer v Mardy Fish - SPOILER

Mardy had some strong first serves but Roger returned them back forcefully too.

his returns have really improved this last year.

Re: Roger Federer v Mardy Fish - SPOILER

i expected Fish to lose but i never expected him to have to swallow a bagel! glad he made it to the finals tho'.

congrats Rog! your coachless experiment continues to pay dividends!

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)
