Mardy Vs Federer...Roddick Vs Grosjean

Unfortunately even though I am glad Mardy Has made a great comeback to make it to the final after his hip problems, Federer will win this one in straights. Federer is in top form, and Mardy still has some maturing to do.

Roddick Vs Grosjean is a repeat of last years final. Even though Andy won comfortably in two sets before, I think Grosean will raise his level for this years final. Either Andy wins in 2 or Grosjean wins in 3 sets...

hmmmm who said there was NO CHANCE of a repeat of last year's finals?

Anyway, two great matches with 4 great grass players. Awesome! May everyone play well

Roddick in 2 is definently my guess for Queen's, which is good.

I think Federer takes care of Mardy in 2 as well, though I will be rooting for Mardy and it would be great for him to take down Roger.

Roddick and Federer in straights. They're the 2 best players on grass, they'll win them

Re: Mardy Vs Federer...Roddick Vs Grosjean

Federer will slaughter Fish without problems 6-3 6-3 or anything like that

well, I mean Fish got lucky today as he got by Schüttler, how should Fish ever beat Federer then

my guess for Queen's is Roddick: just too strong on own serve, maybe Grosjean can take it to some tiebreakers and win there if he plays good tennis at the deciding moments, but Roddick should take this title again!

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Well Fish does have a nice serve, so if he can hold, he has a slight chance. On the other hand Federer is a great returner, so if Fish has movement problems because of his hip, he can forget it.

for me, everything points into the direction that Federer will be 24-0 on grass over the last two years on the late afternoon of July 4th

Neely, that coming from you gave me lots of comfort and confident since you seemed to be the only one here who had watch Rogi plays on grass so far this year. Beside you're one of the fairer posters here but we'll see

Re: Mardy Vs Federer...Roddick Vs Grosjean

I can't see the Queen's result being any different from last year's (but Seb could follow Boris' advice to watch the 2003 version and find a better game plan). But unless he can read the Roddick serve and return it consistently, he's got little chance.

Fish will be difficult for Federer. He has a serve-volley, attacking game. Roger prefers to dictate and be in control, but Mardy can take this away from him, in the same way that Tim Henman does. He's gaining more experience and playing better. If he can keep the unforced errors down, then I wouldn't be surprised if Fish wins in three.

These prognoses much against my wishes though...go Seb and Roger!!

Re: Mardy Vs Federer...Roddick Vs Grosjean

uh.... I can't see Mardy troubling Roger much, especially since he said he was tired and his hip bothered him at the end of today's match.

Did he? Well that might make it more difficult for him then. Perhaps I was being a little pessimistic.

Re: Mardy Vs Federer...Roddick Vs Grosjean

yes he did, plus Mardy's mentality is still a little questionable. He totally folded against Roger at IW. If I were a roger fan, I wouldn't worry much And since I'm a Mardy fan I just want him to fight all the way lol

Roger and Andy will defend their titles.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."
