Re: 2012 MTF Mug of the Month: Tons of mugs to choose from for February

but, again, this is not highly unusual for Petzschner. This is just what his consistency is. Bogomolov on the other hand has no excuse for losing so many winnable matches.
The fact that his only wins were against Yani and an injured Stakhovsky is pathetic.

If Petzschner screws up again next month, then maybe we give him the award, but Bogomolov is just begging and pleading for you.

It is done. Managing to lose 6 matches in 29 days is not easy.

Re: 2012 MTF Mug of the Month: Alex Bogomuglov Jr. wins February

No! I thought they were giving it to the Swiss DC team? If Austria could win it for losing to the Americans on home soil, on clay, the Swiss should have gotten it for having an RG ex-champ and RG juniors ex-champ lose to Isner and Fish.

This was an upset.

Trolling is defined by Herring as baiting and luring others into pointless and time-consuming discussions.

4 criteria of trolls:

1. Appearance of outward sincerity.
2. Posts designed to incite anger or "flames"
3. Posts designed to waste everybody's time with useless argument
4. Desperate desire for attention, any attention at all

Recognize them, don't engage and put 'em on your ignore list where they belong. Feed a troll and you're just encouraging their attention-seeking.

Early in the month it looked like for sure the Swiss DC team would win this.

Then Roger won Rotterdam and Wawrinka made SF in Buenos Aires, pushing Almagro to the brink. Both are playing well this week too. So tough to give it to them.

But when you lose 6 matches in the shortest month of the year, you deserve to be recognized

Looks like Tsonga tries to make sure he takes the march award very early to avoid any doubt...

Alex Bogomolov seems lazy this season. I see him dropping out of the top 50 this season.

Re: 2012 MTF Mug of the Month: Fish and Llodra lead March

Mardy Fish is at it again, with yet another controversy, no handshake for the umpire, and another bad loss, this time to Matt Ebden.

Llodra also made a case for himself with his comments and subsequent fine.

Still early in the month, though.

I agree. If he mugs out next week in the opener, the title should be in the bag.
