Mathieu. PLEASE tell me he didn't retire from the 4th round of a Grand Slam because he was losing? Poor effort.

Has to be the ultimate clown, Rafa Nadal. This MUG has faced 2 decent players this month and has managed 8 games against losing 30

Re: 2008 MTF Mug of the Month

I'm torn between Hewitt, who was all over the media this month but still didn't get near a final in any of his 3 events played - but is mitigated by the incredible 4.30am match against Baghdatis.

Or Nalbandian, who promised much before the tournament, seemed to be over his sudden back twinge that kept him out of Kooyong, then surrendered to Ferrero in 3 sets in one of the worst matches I have ever seen him play.

I think Nalbandian gets it the vote for me. It really was a major letdown from him.
