Post Re: :'( So sad...

That picture makes me feel. We all have felt something like that, something similar to having match points (not in some match but a final) but not closing it out and thinking "what would have been"
Seems like this French Open had so many tears that the pros are probably having so much pressure on them nowadays. And notice that it's the younger players. They're so much more emotional, I don't blame them!
It was a crying slam!

- Gaston crying out of joy and relief in the semis and final
- Anastasia seen crying right before the women's final
- Elena Dementieva unusally crying and holding back in the press conference after the final
- Coria crying in the press conference because he knew he was expected to win and he wanted to use the title to erase the doping situation

I think there were more, maybe not, I hope not!

lots of tears this year!

"i'm not here to do a cinema" - jhh talking to the press about her match
against kournikova (which she won easily), us open 2000

Poor Guillermo

I kept my fingers crossed at these match-points and throughout the match but it wasn't enough

I hope there are lots of RG titles waiting for him in the next years
