Overrated

Who is NOT overrated? Why is everyone is so obssessed with who's overrated? Gasquet is called the most overrated like forever, then someone just mentioned that Murray is the most hyped and another calling Berdych who lost today the most overrated clown in the ATP tour. The funny thing is they're only overrated when they lose or when you guys want them to lose. So is Djokovic back to being a clown now that he has just lost to Santoro? People on this forum just love to point out who's overrated and who's a clown but I think the real clowns are the people on this forum who do nothing but make the most meaningless comments.

Gasquet is an overrated clown and a mug at the same time

Re: Overrated

Overrated: the esteem in which a player is regarded doesn't match up to the player's accomplishments

Examples: Andy Murray gets to play on center court on Bercy when two top ten players like Berdych and Ferrer are bumped to a side court. Tim Henman got a whole mound dedicated to him in SW19 when he was pretty much the plaything of his peers. John Isner is called a fantastic prospect when in reality, he makes Ivo Karlovic look like Federer. And so on.

Trolling is defined by Herring as baiting and luring others into pointless and time-consuming discussions.

4 criteria of trolls:

1. Appearance of outward sincerity.
2. Posts designed to incite anger or "flames"
3. Posts designed to waste everybody's time with useless argument
4. Desperate desire for attention, any attention at all

Recognize them, don't engage and put 'em on your ignore list where they belong. Feed a troll and you're just encouraging their attention-seeking.

The Queen of the Pansies is a joke.

Overrated by the wannabe Fedtards who are obsessed with his backhand.

The ATP deserves a better class of player, and I'm gonna give it to 'em - Djoker

Errrr murray was on Centre court because he was playing Santoro who is french and the Paris masters is in France. Same goes for Tim - British and Wimbledon is in Britain. Most fans at a tournmament are from the same country so when they pay for Centre court tickets they want to see their own players.

Karlovic is in the later half of his career whilst Isner has only played a couple of ATP tournaments and he got to the final of one. He may be over hyped but he emergence was spectacular.

Henman hill got its name because that's where British fans sat to watch his matches not because he was overrated.

Murray's played on other Center Courts before, like in Madrid where he played Steps. Anyway this all goes to prove my point: these guys get a lot of publicity because of where they're from rather than what they've actually accomplished. They're not BAD players per se, it's just that the press makes them out to be much better than they are.
