really good performance

he got pissed in one or two moments but it's a good think IMO
he looked more focused than in the previous 2 matches

Good, solid performance by Rogi!

I could see the post-match interview as well - couldn't understand everything that was said (Swiss German is quite a difficult language to understand...) but it was obvious that Rogi was in a very good mood, lots of laughs there. Nice to see!

Re: Federer def. Kiefer 6-3,6-2

He played his 40% and won in straights, breaking Kiefer's serve multiple times. But Kiwi isn't that bad - he reached SF and QF succesively losing only to Roger

The Germans, Kiefer and Haas are completely hopeless playing against Federer: 0-16 in a row without any drama

I don't know, I think he's had a little drama against them in the Grand Slams, last year's AO springs to mind instantly.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.
