A Frenchie who didn't choke against Boredo, that's how to do it Mr Grosjean.

I guess Boredo doesn't want to be humiliated again at the TMC.

Re: Gicquel eclipses Boredo, 6-4 7-6

somewhat expected

excellent serving from Gicquel throughout. apart from 1 tricky game early in the first set he never even came close to being broken.

nice recovery too after a letting a 3-0 double break lead in the tie break slip away. he kept his head together well after robredo got a lucky netchord to get the 2nd mb back.

Re: Gicquel eclipses Boredo, 6-4 7-6

Robredo was so nice and helped a little bit in the tiebreak with a terrible, terrible shot when the court was wide open. Pretty poor display from him tonight.

But Gicquel really played a solid match, very strong serving and he put all his heart into the smash on matchpoint, lol.

The website says it's his first win over a top 10. ^^
