Federer v Nalbandian - www?

Ok guys, you know we need to come through this one :

Looks like we're about to witness an interesting final between two players, whose rivalry was always breathtaking. David Nalbandian, even when he's playing worse, could trouble Federer, cause it's always been a hard matchup for the Swiss maestro

Nalbandian
- Won 2 consecutive matches in 2 consecutive days against 2 consecutive ranked players : #2 and #3
- Didn't lose a serve in those matches
- Plays like in his best times, upgraded his serve
- Doesn't face any mental issue, as it used to happen in the past

Federer
- Didn't lose a set in this tournament
- Didn't lose a serve in this tournament (Lopez and Canas didn't even had a single BP)
- Leads the rivalry 8-6
- Won their last encounter here (last year in the semis and it was a destruction)

Nalbandian is on a killing spree, Federer looks a bit bored with all this tournament, but it doesn't prevent him from winning these matches
Can Roger lift the trophy again? Can Nalbandian pull "a Montreal" and win against 3 top seeds?
Discuss please

Mirka would beat David in a wrestling match .... but tomorrow anything can happen. I wouldn't mind seeing David win this one, but hope that Federer will clinch No. 1 even without a win here tomorrow

This will be one of those few matches where I honestly don't care who wins it (aside from the obvious ones involving RN and RF, of course ), as long as it's a real GREAT match - which I hope, perhaps even expect it to be.

May the best one win tomorrow.

As much as I hope for a Nalbi win, I just can't see it happening. As long as he keeps serving as consistently as in his last 3 matches here, he has a chance to take it to a tb, and then I like his chances. But it's a long shot.

Re: Federer v Nalbandian - www?

I went with Federer in 3, with Nalbandian winning the first one. Nalbandian is the first really serious contender for Roger and therefore he'll take the 1st set with a break, as Roger often needs time to get accustomed to more demanding opponent. But then he will move the gear and take the next two, but after a haaard fight

Just one wish : let it be a great match and I kope that any of them will enter the second one's head, cause then we'll see a festival of errors otherwise

Federer in straights but both sets will be long.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game

"CB" are my Real Life initials. "GB" doesn't work for that reason.

Swiss clown 63 62

Nalbi won´t face an injured player (Nadal) or a tired player (Djokovic) , so no chances for Fat Dave
