Djokovic def Ancic 7-6 (2), 6-2

Ancic 0/6 on bps, Djokovic 2/2. Three bps in Djokovic's first service game of both sets wasted for Mario. He held on to the tiebreak but Novak never looked back after leading a set and a break.

Joachim Johansson / Ivo Karlovic / Andy Roddick / Ernests Gulbis / John Isner / Chris Guccione / Feliciano Lopez / Jo-Wilfried Tsonga / Ivan Ljubicic / Mario Ancic / Michael Llodra / Gilles Muller / Xavier Malisse / Max Mirnyi / Nicolas Mahut / Robin Söderling / Frank Dancevic / Olivier Rochus / Robert Kendrick

expected win.

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.

Nole gets trainer out looks to have lost his focus then breaks twice in succession. Hmmmmmmm...... Even Sky are now talking about it.

Re: Novak de. Mario 7:6 6:2

Novak was serving good today. Much better from baseline. Foerhand working. Saved 6 BP. Had 87% point won on 1st serve. Mario had a good opportunity in the 2nd game of 2nd set, when it was 0-40 on Novak's serve, but wasn't able to convert.

Never in doubt.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Novak de. Mario 7:6 6:2

Mario lost his serve twice after having GPs...
He was done after not converting those 3 BPs in the second set.
Still a good tourney for him

Novak twisted his ankle during TB, he got it bandaged between sets.

Re: Novak de. Mario 7:6 6:2

Mario lost concentration and got frustrated in the second set.

good win for the Djoker but he could've been beaten in straights VERY easily.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game
