JMDP running tweener lob

Anyone else just see that? Down 0-30 Robredo hit a BH drop volley a little heavy. JMDP over ran it and so hit it between his legs for a perfectly weighted lob which Robredo got nowhere near.

Unbeliavable cheek to do that at all, especially down 0-30. If he'd have missed he would have been an idiot but whatever.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game

This Delpo is good, that shot was unreal, too bad he's a mental midget.

Agree that was a fantastic shot. He has had some great play at the start of the second.

I agree on both counts. I think he has talent- but his ability to choke and or retire is way up there. Some players you can never count out, at this point- I never count JMDP in. Very frustrating. It does seem like he has improved his serve a bit though.

I like a lot of players.

He's still for the most part a newbie..... I'm sure all those problems will be resolved with maturity.

He has just turned 19 hasn't he, he is the type of player that I think will peak when he is around 24.

Re: JMDP running tweener lob

He learnt that from Gaudio who is the master of that shot known as the caño.
He took the piss out of Federer with that shot and did the same to Hrbaty as well.

Best of all he was down 0-30 when he did that shot and seeing Boredo's face after getting done like that was priceless.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
