Awesome JC, finally beat Moya for the first time since TMC Shanghai 2002 Moya had won their last 4 meetings! H2H is now 8-6 JC

Keep it up JC, you're playing great right now!!!

First set sucked from both, second set Ferrero got better and Moya got worse.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game

what's the big deal? the better player won vs. a limited one whose momentum lasted long enough. we all know that ferrero has way more potential than moya, don't we? i mean, come on, this is the guy who beat agassi at the uso etc., why would it be an overall surprise that he can take out some old geezer like moya?

The first set, there was some high quality tennis, so I dont know what steb is talking about.

Quite frankly Moya's service placement was pretty gash and Ferrero played the best match he has done for years.

No big deal, but speaking of the current version of JCF in terms of the guy who made it to the top in 2003 is plain wrong.

Two different players, with the new one being 30% of the old one.

Ferrero finally beats Moya after 4 straight loses and for the 1st time since 2002.

you're right, but it seems to me as if people would start seeing moya as a "serious" contender in every tournament and forget that most of his success this year came out of nowhere and was solely based on momentum. on a normal day, 70% of ferrero should be enough to beat a 100% moya.

it would be a complete joke for the atp if moya indeed reaches the tmc. plus it would really back up the guys who constantly talk about a weak era. moya at the tmc would underline every single one of their arguments.

they both had their stupid moments in that first set... JC had 0-40 on Moya's serve to go 5-3 up in that set and overall bp conversion was something like 3/15
