I just finished reading on the ATP website that it was his 39th straight win against an American player. Then again I might have misread, wait a minute the atp website tends to make a few mistakes quite often. They said Fed won his 15th masters shield in cinci when in fact it was his fourteenth. So yeah it may well be a mistake from the atp website.
