Almagro def. Santoro 6-4 6-4

poor match from Fabrice, way too passive today

well done Mucho on getting his first main draw win in Madrid He kept his composure well in this match and dominated from the baseline.

One of the best backhand exhibitions that I've seen this year!

Re: Almagro def. Santoro 6-4 6-4

Santoro hit more balls to ALmagro's backhand than I have ever seen someone do.

Surprisingly it stood up, but he did nothing else except get passed like nobodies business!

Nicolas screamed at least 50 times "¡ Vamos !" during this match. What a mug. :retard: Yeah, for me it's definitively a Leprechaun.

You are SO correct...the guy simply radiates obnoxiousness. What can you expect from an escapee from the set of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

Good win for Mucho, I didn't really see this coming, would've thought Santoro would frustrate him no end.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game

Re: Almagro def. Santoro 6-4 6-4

Not to surprised, but a good match showing the quality of his BH (which is a superior shot to the forehand).

It's about time players started exposing Santoro like Almagro did today, I get annoyed by the amount of players who lose to this guy and his pathetic party/trick style play.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Santoro is too classy for a young Snanish guy... it's too bad he lost.

Quite true, hitting his fh harder (Almagro probably prefers to hit fh´s bc balls fly faster ) doesn´t mean it´s better than his bh. Wp Mucho
