Benneteau was the better player in the first two sets, then he just collapsed.

Well done to Ferrero . In Benneteau's first 10 service games of the match, he didn't face a single break point, and was never taken to deuce. In the 11th one early in the final set, Ferrero broke him to love, and he was constantly put under pressure on his serve from Juanqui afterwards.

Benneteau, what a midget. Lost 3 BPs in the first game of the third and then collapsed.

Benneteau was, in fact, better player for first 2 sets, but nothing to show for it in the end. By the way, total points won after the match were 89:90 in favor of Benneteau

Overall, very boring match. At least for me. Just baseline, baseline, baseline and baseline...

Surprisingly good from Benneteau in the first two sets. Very good serving. Couldn't take the pressure in the third.

Feña wants revenge from that previous loss in Cincy

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

His TB record is 133-101 according to Tennis Corner. (135-101 if you add today and yesterday's results)
Hope he will be featured in your stats thread by the end of this year.

haha, i left this match at the start of the 3d

cant believe benneteau lost it

in first set he won the last 3 service games to love and then played awfully in TB, missing a couple of shots where he could have closed the point

This should have been straight sets for Benneteau but no surprise that he wasn't when you look at the flag by his name.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game
