Medellin CH Final: Interesting match

Tomorrow Aussie Chris Guccione and Argie Eduardo 'Gordo' Schwank will face each other for the title of Medellin Challenger, Colombia.

Guccione is proving once again that the altitude of SA clay events helps him a lot. Today he had a convincent win over Brian Dabul 6-3 6-4.

But the match will be interesting specially because of Schwank. I saw him playing the Pan-Am Games in July and he surely has a great potential, hits the ball with such power, looks like a taurus like Almagro. Yesterday he easily defeated local hero Santi Giraldo and today won a long battle with fellow countryman Mariano Puerta on 3rd set TB. Watch this guy reach the top 100 next year.

I wish I could see this match

Re: Medellin CH Final: Interesting match

edu won in three tough sets 7-5 5-7 7-5

his first challenger title after he lost in the final of his previous two tournaments. i hope he can establish himself in the ATP tour next year, he showed he has enough talent and the results are promising

Re: Medellin CH Final: Interesting match

Well, after he lost to Chris Rochus last year... maybe he realised it's better to stay on clay?
