Re: Who is the biggest tennis fanatic?

I bet no one has as many large towers of stacked tennis tapes like I do.

Djokovic // Del Potro // Paire // Thiem // M. Zverev // Youzhny
Coric // Khachanov // Donaldson // A. Zverev // Bublik
Ferrero // Rafter

Re: Who is the biggest tennis fanatic?

I'm pretty sure George isn't fanatical about anything, including tennis. Yashirobai is a Spanish tennis fanatic, nothing more. And as for tangerine and star, well, we know there's only one player who they're both completely fanatical over, but what did Nalbandian do to deserve their obsessive attentions?

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Who is the biggest tennis fanatic?

You can call me a "tennis fanatic" when I have Bud Collins' Tennis Encyclopedia memorized the way some posters here obviously have done. I'm only up to page 9. I'm not worthy!

Congrats to Andy Roddick, 2017 Hall of Fame!

Re: Who is the biggest tennis fanatic?

What about Rebecca?

I don't know whether to be offended that I was left out, or not. I don't post much and I'm not very knowledgeable about the game like George, but my husband says I can turn any conversation to tennis in less than 3 steps, and Gimelstob calls me a tennis freak. My fanaticism is only limited by my income, or I'd be in England right now, heading off to a grass court challenger this week.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Woohoo, I am winning.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Hehehehehehe at least I am talking about tennis most of the time.
