Why are Britain not on the poll? Are you implying that we have no chance against the Argies away?

Seriously, Spain have a great chance.

I love this draw, definitly (outside of Belgium) the most decent draw we could have ever hoped for. We have a chance against Sweden, especially at home.

Shitty tie for Britain. It was them and Spain we needed to avoid. Will do well to avoid 5-0. Jamie Murray is useless on clay and Andy is unproven on the red stuff. The Argies have a choice of many dopers who relish the clay, so should be simple for them.

I think Peru will clinch the Davis cup.

I must be the only one relishing Argentina away. It's like my team going to White Hart Lane in the FA Cup.

We'll give it our best shot and while we'll no doubt lose, I'd like to think Murray can have another good go at Fat Dave like he did on his Wimbledon debut.

Who will Argentina play alongside him? Tim's retired, unfortunately for Willy

Bogdanovic will have to play because he's the only one with any talent other than Andy. Plus he's a big underdog here and he usually performs better in that role.

I like Spain's draw, Argentina's is good too. At least the world group seems alright. I completely hate Australia's draw. An away tie against Chinese Taipei is not the slightest bit interesting to me. Actually, the whole Asia/Oceania group isn't interesting at all. Since I"m not even going to worry about Australia next year, I'll be hoping Spain wins it twice as much as usual. Their draw is favourable, so theres no reason why it can't happen.

I wouldn't rule out a Serbian win. If they can beat Russia (Djokovic x2 + Doubles), who knows?

Re: Who will win the 2008 Davis Cup? The draw is out!

Serbia and Czech are my picks (outside of the obvius ones, Russia, America etc). Serbia is awesome with Djokovic, Tipsarevic and the good doubles! Czech just as awesome. Berdych, Stepanek and also very good doubles...Very allround teams.
Most teams have just have one great player and have to rely on the great player to play the doubles well.
