Australian Open Title

When was the last time a male tennis player won three Australian Opens in a row ??

In any case, Roger will attempt this feat come January 2008

LONG LIVE THE KING

1.Federer
2.Tsonga
3.Safin

*2001 Agassi [champion]

*2002 DNP [injured]

Re: Australian Open Title

well , that way edberg also kind of qualifies,
he won in 85 and 87 (no competion in 86)

The last real 3 in a row was achieved by Roy Emerson
(actually five in a row : 63-67)

Safin : “Nothing scares me. On second thought, I hate dentists. I fear dentists. Going to the dentist for me is worse than playing Fabrice Santoro."

The problem is that FED played & lost in 2005

Agassi wasn`t defeated he simply didn`t play AO 2002 because he got injured in a warm up event

again you`re using false logic

Edberg won 2-in-a-row [85 & 87]
Agassi won 3-in-a-row [00, 01 & 03]

yes Hewitt`s set to play Mumbai next week
...i think it`s good for Hewitt to play tourneys he hasn`t played before, see if the fans in India like his passionate style
#also with no Federer in sight it`s a good chance for Lleyton to pick up a title & confidence boost [just as Gonzalez did in Beijing last week ]..

of course b4 Mumbai Hewitt has to play Davis Cup against Serbia~~ headed by Djokovic, so we`ll see how Rocky pulls up after the tough clay matches there!!

Give dragons 112 some time and he'll stroll to the ArseClown title.

You're doing quite a fine job at achieving a high seed at that particular contest - especially since you've already made 74 posts around here and still seem to have no idea about the whole thing.
