Simon wins his 2nd title in Bucharest (beats Hanescu 4/6 6/3 6/2)

He joins the club of ex-losers (Malisse, PHM, Monaco ) winning at least 2 (MM) titles in the same year

It's a huge shame that Hanescu couldn't win his 1st ATP title, and in front of his home fans as well.
Well done to Simon though.

Good effort from Simon - when he's on form he can play some beautiful flowing tennis.

Also good to see Hanescu's comeback heading in the right direction - he's won a couple of challengers in the last few months and this is a great result for him, though he will be disappointed he couldn't close the title out after taking the first set.

And that's clay done for another year.

Bad luck Victor.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Simon is a prick and a pusher. Big deal, do you wanted the Romanians to cheer him?
