Question: Is Canas still in Fed's head?

I think Canas owns his puny Swiss arse and the arrogant Swiss knows it. Canas is simply holding back the rest of the year, to give FedBoy time to brood on those 2 devastating losses which limited him to current 2200 point lead in #1 ranking.

Re: Question: Is Canas still in Fed's head?

Fed is such a shmo for not winning a single GS in his first 16 attempts. BTW, I calculated that if Fed win the CYGS, his slam win% goes to 42%, which would exceed Borg's 11/27(40.7)

Well, having a winning record over someone does mean that you own them if that's the way you want to look at it. Aside from that, Guillermo is absolutely physically and mentally drained at this point, so I don't expect his results to be at his usual level.

I think not being a fan it would be easy to overlook all underlying reasons and simply label him an average player. I'm glad that I'm a fan

What is the point of this thread? Can we have a "FedFan_2007 Wants To Talk About His Hero, But For Reasons Unknown The Fed Express Forum Cannot Satisfy His Lust For Fed Discussion Thread"? He could type away to his heart's content.

I don't think so. And I'm quite sure Federer would not get beaten again by Cañas if they were to play against each other now.

Good question. It would probably make sense to start a thread like this when a match between them would be awaiting, but that's not the case.

Anyway, Roger mentioned before the start of the Montreal tournament his disappointing performances in Miami and Indian Wells against Canas

http://youtube.com/watch?v=tb0xD8JxpeI

I guess he was more disappointed with his game then to lose to Canas twice in a row. And why should he agonize about his defeats to him now when he has won 3 of the 4 GS tournaments?
