Do Pro Players still participate at their local club?

The reason i ask this is because i believe to have seen a proffesional player by the name of Dean Little participating in a training match at my local club. My club is called Nunholm Tennis Club and features a mere 4 artificial courts. Local players such as Channelle Cunningham, "Coco" Dunbar, the Breen Bros (doubles partners), Russel Jardine, Curly Coser, Cameron Nicholas's father, Captain G.Grant, N.Y.P.D. JIM, Raymond Capone, big Al and Spenny and Pomfret all frequent the club, but they along with local rivals Hutchy (moffat) and xander (dbt) are not well known and are fairly lacking in the competitive department. However, this Dean Little, soon to be tagged the "Dean Machine" by those around Nunholm, has made our courts his own. The courts have never seen a tennis ball being hit so well since their creation. He wears a large range of proffesional gear (different each day)and has a hitting partner who trains in America. His game seems to revolve around power and out hitting his opponent from the baseline. Does anybody else know of any incidents of big time players returning to their roots and having a hit at their local courts in their town or village of birth?

Sounds great...

Nah not heard of any.

Actually, didn't Blake go back to his school or something to have a court named after him??

I'm guessing this is a joke, as the Dean Machine's credentials rival those of our own beloved Xristos.

I hear Federer participates at the local Basel club. They don't always have the court available for him, so he has to wait in the lounge.

There is no lounge at Nunholm, just wooden benches out in the cold. Dean doesn't sit any way. He stands. He has no time for sitting. Besides, if he sat on the bench outside of the courts he would probabaly be knocked out by a cricket ball. Well I suppose not actually as the cricket team there couldn't hit the ball far if their life depended on it. Anyway, back to Dean. His favourite gear is adidas. He plays with a babolat racket. He once said to me "aryt mate." Then "fill up this bottle for me please pal." needless to say I managed to carry out this simple operation without fainting.
