Marin Cilic def. Nikolay Davydenko 6-3 6-4

Davydenko got broken in his first service game in the first set and Marin didn't give him a chance to come back. In the second set Davydenko took a 3-0* lead but Marin came back and took the *4-3 lead and held his serve till the end of the match.

His first big win

Cilic beats "Globetrotter" Davydenko 6-3, 6-4

congrats marin!

another thing...

i just watched the last couple of games and they were showing a guy (i guess cilic' coach) in the stands a couple of times wearing a shirt says "porschezentrum bergisches land". must be a sponsor or something.

what is this about? i've been driving by that car center loads of times, i live like 30 minutes from it. is cilic working (training) somewhere over here or what's going on? it's not a big company, more a regional one, so that lead me to the conclusion that cilic must have something to do with it.

they don't mention anything on their website unfortunately, just car racing endorsements.

http://www.porsche-rheinoberberg.de/

and it wasn't kolya's corner, eduard davydenko was nowhere near that guy. i didn't watch a lot though, so i don't know if they mentioned the guy before.

any thoughts?

Good win for Marin.

PMK can get the late 4 hr flight from Beijing to Moscow now.

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Davydenko handed him the win, Cilic will lose in the next round.

It is a bad loss.

I still don't see what all the fuss is about. Davydenko just came from the US Open semis on Saturday to fly half way round the world to play here.

Tiredness is just catching up with him.
