Re: Defending champ OUT!!!

Sad consequence of horrible decisions .. He should be resting for Halle an then Wimbledon. He wouldn't win but he can win some matches healthy

Re: Defending champ OUT!!!

i watched the whole match...it was a torture...i thought anytime he would retire but he did not....though he lost in straight sets but he tried and hang in there till the last minute....credit to andreev...anyway now he might as well skip wimby too and just rest before he starts playing in olympics...thats the most possible biggie that he could win this year...

Q. As the older player, you don't feel like it's your role to go up to the younger players and talk to them first?

Re: Defending champ OUT!!!

Andreev was always going to be dangerous although i didn't think he was as good as Haas. I thought that given his draw, Ferrero could have 4th round and lost to gaudio.

Never mind Juan - rest and make sure you're properly ready for the next tournament you decide to play!

JC

While it doesn't suprise me, I am rather upset. Maybe it was the fact that he was looking to the sky for answers.

Rest up JC!!

GOOD LUCK

Fernando Verdasco | Paul-Henri Mathieu | Richard Gasquet

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga | Marat Safin | Juan Carlos Ferrero | Carlos Moya | David Nalbandian | Mathieu Montcourt | Nicolas Mahut

Poor Ferrero. The Tennis Gods have been very cruel.

Re: Defending champ OUT!!!

just wanna add on that juanqui was more affected by hitting from the baseline than serving...u could see the pain in his eyes...he could not be aggressive like he always is on clay and andreev was the aggressive one todae hitting winners which were very impressive, juanqui was not running enough to get back the balls too...basically he just lost everything in this match, UEs, miss hits, stamina, breathing problem....now just rest well
