If Ljubo spends another 5-6 years on tour he might break Carlsen's incredible record of most 1st round losses at Grand Slams.

Also, look at Nalbandian's average. Really sad that he couldn't win a slam or two...

Re: tennis magazine revists the GOAT DEBATE WITH TABLE

Ljubo and PHM are by far the worst GS performers... (and Monaco, but he doesn't have many GS appearances in the first place)

It's amazing, but he retired early.

Re: tennis magazine revists the GOAT DEBATE WITH TABLE

Borg's stats seem partially inaccurate, probably going by the ATPTennis numbers. Borg actually did lose in the first round once - his very first major, the 1972 US Open (to Roy Emerson). Borg was 16.

Re: tennis magazine revists the GOAT DEBATE WITH TABLE

Wrong! Borg didn't participate in US Open 1972. And Roy Emerson lost first round against Cliff Drysdale: http://www.atptennis.com/5/en/vault/...amentYear=1972

Re: tennis magazine revists the GOAT DEBATE WITH TABLE

One can use statistics to say anything they want.
Take these two examples

A company with 10 employees
The boss makes 10,000,000 per year
Each of the other nine makes 1,000

The average income per employee is thus
((10,000,000 + (1,000 x 9))/10 = 1,000,900

I don't think any of the nine employees feels like he/she is making a little more than a million per year...............

=============================================

In country ABC of 10,000,000 people,
there were two unemployed people in 2004.
In 2005, there were three unemployed people.
Thus National unemployment rose by 50%
Was that good or bad?

============================================

My memory might betray me but didn't Chang win his
first ever Slam, the French? If he did and stopped
playing he'd have been the best player in the World.
His result in that table would have been 100%
