Yes - I'm sure some people will take exception to this, but my own view is that he is the natural successor to Roger Federer, and is a far more complete and talented player than Nadal. It would not surprise me to see him taking over the Number 2 position next year, and I'm sure he will become Number 1 when/if Roger decides to retire in say 4-5 years.
Ignoring the Nadal bit in your post because I know that you dislike him with a passion
but erm...how are you sure that Novak will be number one if Roger retires in 4-5 years? Who is to say that not another player we're not (totally) aware of is not going to step up.
