R1: Igor Andreev def Peter Luczak 6-3 3-6 6-4 in Bucharest

Tough loss for Luczak, he had 30-0 in the last service game and saved 3 mps.

Hope he gets the 2nd singles spot for the Aussies in Belgrade.

Igor was always the favourite here, but Luczak was too passive initially. Then he turned around a 3-1 deficit in the 2nd set.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I just hope he doesn't get too down on himself after this loss, it was still a pretty solid effort. Would of liked to see him win to give him confidence and confirm his spot for next week.

Drawing Igor so early was a tough break for Luczak. Hard luck to him, but he deserves to feature in Australia's upcoming Davis Cup tie.
