So which were the best matches at the US Open this year?

I can't really comment considering I haven't seen any matches besides the first set of the final. You can attribute that to Australia's peasant coverage of tennis on free to air television. I do have a Haas-Blake DVD on order which should arrive soon.

Djokovic vs. Stepanek 2nd round.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Federer Roddick? The stats looked pretty crap to me, and Roddick matches are usually pretty poor to watch.

I also liked:

Djokovic - Monaco 4R (High quality tennis)
Blake - Santoro 2R (Santoro is always fun)

Sexy vs Fakervic 2nd round.

Max vs Fat Clown Baghdatis 1st round.

Haas vs Blake 4th round.

Blake vs Santoro 2nd round (because of Santoro's magics).

Blake vs. Haas hands down for me.

Yeah I agree. There was some simply stunning tennis and groundstrokes on show from both players in that match.
