SF~likely matchups? Fedex/Llegs, Coria/Chela

Howdy doody my friends . *Finally I had a vision of the likely Semi-Final matchups I foresee shaping up after the surprising loss of Roddick today...

SF = Federer vs Hewitt; Coria vs Chela

FINAL = but atleast one Argentinian is going to be there!

Anyone else care to suggest the likely SF scenario?

You're probably right about Chela, I suppose Roddick isn't his toughest challenger on clay but I think him and Henman are the only seeds left in that section. Mind you, those two have split tough three-set matches at Monte Carlo in the past, so it's not that easy to call if it is a Henman-Chela QF. But hey, it could very well be Blanco and Mutis playing for a semi spot, you never know at RG.

I don't see Hewitt making it to the semis, one of Costa/Gaudio/Ferrero will account for him, and as for Federer well the thought of having to beat Grosjean or Safin or Nalbandian in the quarters makes it difficult to predict he'll be in the semis with any confidence.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

I just hope Henman plays like he did in the last two sets of his match against Saulnier and the first against Burgsmuller! If he does that then he will be very tough to beat up to the semis, even by Chela

Henman surely has his best chance of reaching a QF in France; which would be his best performance at any Slam except Wimbledon! You never know-> crazy things could happen like Tiger Tim making the Final (a la Verkerk, Shuettler...).
Hewitt will have a difficult time beating Ferrero if those two meet in the QF; however I wonder if Ferrero will even make it that far considering his lack of match fitness & still weakened from injuries/chicken pox etc!!

Federer may have difficulties with Grosjean~ especially with the Parisian Partisan support that Sebastian will receive. However Safin & Nalbandian aren't mentally strong enough to take out Fedex 04 version Roger is on a different planet this season; look at how he has beaten Nalbandian in AO QF, Safin in AO Final, Henman at IW Final, Hewitt at AO & Hamburg, Coria in Hamburg Final,... So I'm pretty sure the Swiss Cheese will atleast make it to FO Semi-Final! If his 1stRD form was anything to go by then Roger will be looking strong to claim the 2nd leg of Grand Slam; but naturally I pray that Llegs can halt his run

Federer has a good draw to the QF. Hewitt wont make the SF, thats purely dreaming, CmonAussie. Gaudio, Ferrero, or someone else will take him out earlier. He could make the 4th rd, but i dont forsee him making it any further.

Judging by how easily Federer destroyed Hewitt at Hamburg, i would say there's no chance in hell for Hewitt against Federer
