Why is Moya having such a good year?

He just turned 31 about a week ago. Starting in May 2005 he fell from being a top 10 player to around 30-50. He is now ranked 17 and could get into the top 10 (conceivably) by the end of the year with good showings at the US Open and the 2 remaining Masters Series events.

Any ideas why?

Si, si ... he always drinks a glass of quality red wine before he takes to the court.

Or maybe he's concentrating on his tennis playing after his supposed break up with Flavia ..?

Or maybe I don't know ... but it's good, isn't it?

He's leading the Russian guy Kunitsyn 2 sets to love now ... expected win here.

Cuz Carlos is a legend + he is free of injuries right now = solid top 15

The Lord is ageless, he laughs at the prospect of aging.

Also he's probably hitting the party scene again now that he's not in a serious relationship anymore, girls are his fountain of youth.

He has been hitting his backhand a lot better recently. I don't know when he learned to do that.

He has found again his motivation and it is important that he is also healthy now, he had shoulder problems in 05 and 06.

Back to Top 10. that's questionable. I don't believe he can get back to Top 10.

But he's playing very well, I believe His energy is very positive. Good luck Moya
