El Fashionista Koubek demolishes Llodra 6-1, 6-3, 6-3

Did his best to blow his third-set lead, but the K-Man is through! Now, time to infuriate Blake with your remorseless baseline consistency and superior sense of haute couture.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

In the fashion stakes, or in his failure to halt Special K's inexorable draw progress?

It's always a great day when El Fashionista wins . He has recorded back to bacl impressive and resounding victories now, and the winner of the upcoming Blake-Santoro match will be his opponent in the 3rd round.

Don't write off Santoro just yet, please!

It's not an impossible match to win, although this match up suits Blake alot.

If the fashionable one can beat either Santoro or Blake, who are locked in a battle at one set all, he will move up inside the worlds top 50 safely, edging on the outside of the top 40. He hasn't been in the top 50 since about 2003, near the beggining I reckon.

Great stuff El Fashionista and Blake is tired as, and ready for the taking. Just hope he remembers their only match at the AO 2002 when we cheered home the fashionable one to a 4-6 2-6 6-4 6-1 6-2 victory.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Yes, it is always a great day when the Fashionable one wins a match.

If it helps with your defensive skills, then you should switch to the racquet.

El Fashionista will always be cool, even if he was bald and this shirt would go very well with the yellow shorts.

Llodra should stick to hanging around the male changing room naked, the dirty queer.
