Aren't you jumping the gun a bit? Federer's still playing his second round match.

Yeah, he might get one set to a TB, but Fed in straight. If all cards fall Isner's way he may pull out a TB and force a fourth, but very doubtful.

Re: John Isner VS Roger Federer, Who will win?

Isner will never get close to breaking Fed's serve so he will have to win 3 tiebreaks and that isn't happening. Fed will break him a couple of times and win one set in a tiebreak.

Re: John Isner VS Roger Federer, Who will win?

LOL, Capdeville is still playing. But what they hey

Isner is going to lose. But that would be cool if won. But he won't. But there's a chance. Roger has some iffy results with people younger than him that he plays for the first time... soooo, I dunno. But, I am happy for Isner as much as he ruined my Washington experience, beating all my guys, I forgive him though. I just hope the match is intense and lives up to all the hype.

With each passing season, I discover new reason
SAMPRAS --> Rios --> KUERTEN --> Kafelnikov -->
Federer --> Hewitt --> RODDICK --> GONZALEZ -->
NALBANDIAN --> Benneteau --> Davydenko --> Mathieu -->
TURSUNOV --> Mantilla --> KIEFER --> NADAL -->
Karlovic --> Odesnik --> Stepanek --> Monfils -->
??

Re: John Isner VS Roger Federer, Who will win?

I wish Isner had done something to piss Roger off, so he could go into "Super Psycho Mode" and whitewash Isner, but I wouldn't be surprised if Roger manages to drop a set.

Isner should call Mirka ''Juliette'' or "Fatty.''

He could sit Isner's mom beside Mirka. That woman just looks like one of those obnoxious cheering sports moms.

I know. She was so annoying. This is not high school where you go ''That's my boy'' in the bleachers.

EXACTLY.

She looked like the mom at the high school football game who has the cowbell and sits right behind you. Her fist pumping was terrible. I'm hoping Federer shuts her up more than I'm actually hoping he beats Isner.

Seriously, Isner is 22, not 12. I think she and the rest of his obnoxious group are biggest reason I don't want to root for the guy.

There's a Facebook group where Isner apparently said while drunk to his friends that they have to come and be rowdy and cheer him on if he somehow plays Federer at the U.S. Open.

So, yay that.
