Sad because he lost so few or so many?

He lost 2 last year. I wasn't surprised he lost one to Roddick. I was surprised he dropped that tiebreak to Blake.

I think he could lose 0 sets this year quite easily.

to me it would mean that he did not have a competitive road.

I'd like to see the guy get challnged this year, it's fine with me if he wins it, I just wanna see some excitement along the way. I've seen enough steam rolling already.

It would be interesting to see him lose one to Isner. This board would go nuts.

GOOD LUCK: Safin, Murray, Ancic, Gasquet, Tipsarevic, Tsonga, Isner, Santoro.
BOO: Puerta, Davydenko, Kiefer, Ljubicic, Canas and all the DOPERS.

There is also a very special place in my heart for the three greatest WTA players of all time ---- Martina Hingis, Lindsay Davenport, and Monica Seles!!!

The BIGGEST (borderline delusional) fan of players on General Message Board according to Forehander:
Grigor Dimitrov: FedererBulgaria
Borna Coric: Crowdmaker
Nick Krygios: Dan.
Tommy Haas: Leng Jai
Sebastien Grosjean: Myself
Novak Djokovic: Chiico (Leader of the No1e Cult)

Re: How many sets will Federer lose at the 2007 US Open?

It's hard to say at the moment. He will only start playing against possible contenders from the fourth round and on. Actually Scoville could have taken a set off an umimpressive Federer yesterday.

His form at the moment has not impressed me. Lets see what's it like against Capdeville tomorrow night. His backhand was looking quite hideous yesterday.

I could see him losing this tournament. He can't make the finals of every Grand Slam.
