I guess, got lucky, because he really doesn't look good off the ground and awkward at the net

He got lucky with errors from Jarkko. 19 aces already for him with 2 from Jarkko.

Check out the old thread regarding his DC run. If you can get through the BS you'll see this has been stated before Except that he was good at the net in DC from what I watched. Groundies and side to side movement needs work but he is rather tall Also not sure he has the stamina for a slam.

EDIT- Jonathan will you take care of me when my mind has left me?

Re: Does Isner win points other than aces and service winners?

I don't care... I like him anyway. He's a southern boy, like me.

GOOD LUCK: Safin, Murray, Ancic, Gasquet, Tipsarevic, Tsonga, Isner, Santoro.
BOO: Puerta, Davydenko, Kiefer, Ljubicic, Canas and all the DOPERS.

There is also a very special place in my heart for the three greatest WTA players of all time ---- Martina Hingis, Lindsay Davenport, and Monica Seles!!!

51 unforced errors to 13 for Nieminen.
If there is a God, Nieminen will win tonight.

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

Re: Does Isner win points other than aces and service winners?

He moves a little better than Karlovic, but I think his groundies are comparable.

GOOD LUCK: Safin, Murray, Ancic, Gasquet, Tipsarevic, Tsonga, Isner, Santoro.
