He really does ... But I think that it's just the forehead and the flipped up hair.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

The question is, who DIDN'T watch 90210 back in the day? Yes, Luke looked like he was playing an 18 year old who was going on 30, but then, so did the rest of the cast. Him and Jason were quite the pair.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

How did I not mention Steve? Didn't he start out the show with a bit of a mullet?

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

It's the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw him for the first time...thought the real Jesus had been resurected and was indulging himself in a friendly match of tennis!

GOOD LUCK

Seb still goes by the name Big John? I thought that one was ancient history...

Also:
Mark Philippoussis = Scud
Nicolas Escude = Scud

**************************

Allez to the French gents and a big up to Tim! Further shouts out to Goran, Mr. Sampras and my two favourite former-players-turned-commentators: Johnny Mac and Boris!

"Mark Philippoussis = Scud
Nicolas Escude = Scud "

Simple. Flipper is the Scud cos of awesome power that is not always accurate.

Escude is the Scud because "eSCUDe" minus the "e"s is SCUD.

Wooden rackets may have made for more skilful matches, but with my hand-eye co-ordination i'm glad they are gone. So's Andre.

nicknames updated...

keep 'em coming guys...

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Great thread TC
I wonder if we can ask the mighty amanda or other admins to deniominate it as "important" so it will always stays on top?

I just adore Marat's nickname "oaf". If English were my first language, this would be the exact response to his attempted dropshots behind the baseline as Dina put it down.

How about Zhenia? I certainly recall him called the Y-man

Moya - somebody reffered to him as the "cold fish" which is sometimes so close to the truth

And Mr. Baldy - TBE's nicknamed him as a "senior citizen" which is my favourite reference so far (I wonder if it is still eligible)

And I loved your "Lipanek", TC, although I prefer to call him the "horseradish"
