Re: David Pics Ferrer

OMG, I'm new here, and I can't believe I'm reading this in 2012 and this post was started in 2007!
I had seen the nickname "Pics" quite often for Ferrer and couldn't find any rational explanation for it... so I Googled it, and what do I find... this amazing thread!
Thank you so much to the OP and the people for started the legend, this thread absolutely made my day! I don't remember laughing so much at a forum thread for a long, long time!

I'm SO going to call David "Pics" now! , er sorry,

Re: David Pics Ferrer

This remains the only thread on MTF I've ever cried over (with laughter)

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

There's something mystifying but ultimately beautiful about the confused, sad request that sparked the phenomenon.

Yeah... it's a bit disappointing that (s)he never came back as (s)he will never know what an epic legendary thread (s)he created, but it sure adds up to the Mystery Myth of Pics.

So we are now justified in using it in places other than MTF, hurray!

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo
