Re: will davydenko be in the top 5 at the end of the year

yes, he'll gain a lot of points from Wimbledon and doesnt have anything to defend from the 3 Masters before Paris

also because apart from Fed, Nadal, Rodick and Djoko the others are far from consistent

I'm saying that yes, he will remain in the top 5. Good on him, he worked hard for that ranking.

Well, frankly the last year he has improved significantly and just had an improved Wimblty eprformance. I see no evidence that he will slip out of the top 5, barring something like an injury.

One question - How come you hate Kolya so much?

You always make threads questioning Kolya's top 5 ranking.

Kolya hasn't have the best year but its been really, really consistent.

An interesting note is that Rafa is planning to play on clay after Wimbledon. He'll probably miss Bastad (although you never know) but show up for Stuttgart this time.

I bet Davydenko is thrilled. Nonetheless he will rule Sopot. The greatest stage of them all.

Re: will davydenko be in the top 5 at the end of the year

no I do not think so, but he will finish in the top 10 for sure

he has to defend many points (us open semis and paris bercy titles his biggest defenses), and will not likely
