Re: Quick question

Germany would host.

Tim Henman--Gael Monfils--James Blake--Donald Young--Rafael Nadal--Jo-Wilfried Tsonga--John Isner--Janko Tipsarevic--Richard Gasquet.

Re: Quick question

Germany, but Russia will probably win so US has the chance to host a DC final for once.

Re: Quick question

another quick question: can anyone tell me if ivo klec switched nationality? i'd swear that he started for germany back in the days, but as the adelaide oop says he's currrently starting for slovakia. atptennis.com confirms this. the german tennis federation still has him in their list. what's all that about?

Re: Quick question

Klec has been Slovakian for at least a year now - I'm pretty sure.

Nope, Ivo Klec has Slovak nationality, plays under it and played in our DC team in 2007.

PS: Happy New Year!

I like David Nalbandian.

I didn't hear about him being a German but there is another Klec who is a German, may be relatives or just a coincidence. Anyways, I think it was on tennisinsights.com, he was listed as a German player, but he is a Slovak player, 100%.

I like David Nalbandian.

there are tons of evidence on the web that he used to play for germany (even quite recently), such as these german sources

http://www.tennisbundesliga.de/seite...06_24.hml.html

"Der 25-jährige Deutsche Ivo Klec (Blau-Weiß Krefeld) unterlag im Achtelfinale dem Ex-Neusser Kristian Pless (Dänemark) mit 1:6, 6:7(5)..."

http://www.blau-weiss-krefeld.de/index_archiv05.php

"Ebenfalls bis ins Viertelfinale war Ivo Klec (Blau-Weiss Krefeld) gekommen, jedoch musste sich der Deutsche dem niederländischen Davis Cup-Spieler Raemon Sluiter (ATP 90) mit 6:7(0), 3:6 geschlagen geben..."

both of those are referring to the german tennis league.

and there are also english-speaking sources, such as steve-g-tennis
