Nadal biting trophies....

I know I'm new here, but someone explain the idea behind Nadal biting the trophies. I've seen him do this a few times.

Some photographers asked him to do it after an early win and the tradition has carried on.

I think it must be very good for his appetite. Its symbolic of his normal playing style. The age of animal magnetism has arrived!

Nah, it's not a problem @ all. I guess I'd do it too if I'd get paid, but then again, I'm a bit of a money whore.

Re: Nadal biting trophies....

He said on an interview to Marca that he did it because Moya did it once somewhere joking and then he started doing it and now it's a tradition. He also said the he lost his trophy from Acapulco....BTW in my soccer team we did that, I still remember the last trophy I won in District Champs...oh wait that was only 06
