Gasquet defeats Gaudio 6-1 6-4

Shocker 1st set.

Better 2nd set, some good tennis when he broke Gasquet at 1-2* and held for a 3-2 lead. Thought he might get back on track but I guess I was wrong. Anyway VAMOS GAUDIO

Re: Gasquet defeats poor Gaudio 6-1, 6-4.

played some good stuff in the second, played some what the fuck great shots but just the odd game lost him it. He needs a break, remember what sampras did in 2002, he was lagging the whole season and at the us open he found inspiration and that is what gaudio needs. He has the class and can produce good results in any surface particularly clay, take a 6 month break after the french open and come back fresh gaston.

Shame but it was expected though.

gasquet's tennis is so good to watch. he's like a little federer: beautiful groundstrokes, nice technique, good sense of tactics etc.

good victory, keep going!

Why did you want it taped if you watched it, unless if you're judging the level of tennis by the score?

I'd like to have some memories when he retires after Roland Garros, looks like it at the moment

Good match all around. Gaudio kinda self destructed with the UEs, but Richard was also not helping him.

Doesn't seem to be that important if you can win 10 GS without it...

you're talking about fed and gasquet or gaudio and gasquet?

well, if the first scenrio is true: thank GOD fed doesn't have the kinda fighting spirit someone like nadal has. tennis would be crushed, he wouldn't lose for 10 years.

and if gasquet also had fighting spirit, he'd be no.2 or 3 in the world.
