Re: Hamburg draw is out

Draw looks pretty good to me. The third quarter seems loaded, though it kind of looks the same as Rome with Robredo, Davydenko, Hewitt, Murray and Canas. Except now it has Chela, Almagro and Calleri in it too. Far too hard to predict who will come out of there.

I hope we get to see Djokovic-Youzhny and Gonzalez-Gasquet.

Re: Hamburg draw is out

possible safin vs federer...sounds like a nightmare for safin.
Canas vs Chela should be tight.

Re: Hamburg draw is out

Federer v Ferrero or Safin, in the last 16. Djokovic has a very good chance of making the SF.

As for the other half, lot will depend on whether Nadal chooses to play. Canas could replace him as the 17th seed.

Would that mean canas goes to Nadal's spot in the draw

Nadal doesn't need this one. It's too much.

I think it depends on when he withdraws. If first round matches have already been played then a LL will come in instead.

A LL will get his spot if he withdraws anytime after the qualifying has started. The only time a 17th seeds will be made is if he withdraws before qualifying.
