Gonzalez fires past Chela 6-3 6-4

The AO Feña is back!

Well, maybe not quite yet, but atleast based on tonight's performance Gonzalez is finding his form again at the right time...

I saw bits and pieces, nicely done by Gonzo. If he plays well, Gonzo will go to the final. I like Volandri, but I just don't think he is capable of producing a strong final with Nadal. I think Gonzo will make things more interesting.

Re: Gonzalez fires past Chela 6-3 6-4

Well Gonzo wasn't as errorless as during the AO but he kept the winner/error rate positive enough to win it. Typical Gonzo match where he decided what happened on court and his opponent just absorbed everything waiting for the small chances to attack and/or the errors from Gonzo.

I thought the same thing as I wrote it.

Volandri as a threat never came to mind before Rome.
