Two different realities in Argentinian tennis. And wait till RG ends and you'll see them crossing each other.

Re: GRAPHS of Player's weekly Rankings since Jan.01 2007.

It might be more informative to track the change in ranking points through time, the reason being that the rank itself is coarse, for example the distance between #80 and #70 is not the same as the distance between #20 and #10.

Yep, that's a good observation . . .

The idea behind this project is to show the progession tendencies of a player no matter what his ranking is at that point in time. The main purpose of this data-base is a player tracker and monitoring service which permits national tennis federations and sponsors to keep track of their players on a day to day (and past/present weekly) basis, current tournaments, match results, statistics and W/L ratios. Concrete infos to analyse players performances, and to keep a finger on the pulse at all times, optimising reactive communication, thanks to the daily updates for all results and particularly helpfull for young player detection.

This unique service is accomplished through a highly performant extranet software service which is subscribed by our clients. The coretennis.net data-base has over 20,000 players on file and covers all international singles tournaments in ATP, WTA, ITF as well as the 12-14-16 yrs.
