Fed vs JCF

Fed owns a 6-3 HTH. Should be a relatively routine win. JCF doesn't have anything to really threaten Roger.

Re: Fed vs JCF

JCF is playing well this week and Fed looked ALOT better today then in his first match.

I give it to fed, but ferrero could suprise, who knows.

I cannot stand Djokovic

I'm an American who loves clay tennis and the clay season...what is wrong with that picture?

Federer in 2. He won't be eager to play long before The Nadal show

Re: Fed vs JCF

Ferrero will step it up. He always does against Federer because he enjoys playing against him. They've only played once on clay, but that was incomplete match. Obviously Fed is the favorite, but Ferrero has more weapons to hurt him than Ferrer does. If JC's forehand is locked in, then Fed needs to be very careful.

Re: Fed vs JCF

I don't know, Ferrero tends to play good against Fed because he likes the challenge. It could be a tougher match then some of you think if JC manages to stay with Fed in the beginning. I still predict a victory for Fed but I'm hoping for a good match.

Vamos David and Juan Carlos

They have always had tough matches (even on grass) and I don't expect anything different tomorrow. Fed will come through however.

Need ideas for a new signature...

most players do...and i think that's really important to remember every time roger steps into a tennis court its a final for the guy on the other side of the net..that's why roger's record should be applauded!

I expect a tough and good match - with Fed coming through in the end.

I like Fed's chances. Ferrero doesn't have much firepower. Gasquet would have been scarier.

Ferrero was getting his ass kicked today until Gasquet started breaking down physically. Fed in 2.

I think this is going to be really easy for Roger, something like his match against Ferrer, a tighter first set followed by a quick second.

I'm not feeling like it will be that close, unfortunately- but I'd love to be wrong. Fed in 2 tomorrow.

6-3 6-2 or something quite easy like that.

Re: Fed vs JCF

It was only a few years ago, this would be in Ferrero's favor. I think Federer has improved a lot since the first round, but Ferrero played so well to beat Gasquet.

A fit Gasquet would pose more problems to Federer.

Re: Fed vs JCF

If the case is that Ferrero likes to play against Federer because he is a "challenge" then that is completely stupid, why cant he find playing against somebody like Alberto Martin a challenge? He was beaten by him. He needs to stop looking down on others players because he is a slam champion, he is not the player he was and never will be.
